DEBRA A. D’AGOSTINO became an associate with Passman & Kaplan, PC, in 2003 and advocates on behalf of employees throughout the country, including by litigating claims of discrimination, equal pay, and in misconduct defense actions, Ms, D’Agostino is experienced at representing clients through every step of the administrative processes at both the EEOC and MSPB, and in addition to her active litigation docket has successfully negotiated a number of settlements on behalf of her clients. Ms. D’Agostino is also an experienced appellate advocate, having achieved successful results from the EEOC’s Office of Federal Operations, and having argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. and Federal Circuits. Additionally, Ms. D’Agostino has represented several D.C. government employees, including in matters before the D.C. Office of Employee Appeals.
Ms. D’Agostino earned her J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School in May 2001. She earned her B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies from New York University in 1998. During law school, Ms. D’Agostino served as President of the Law Association for Women and as Chair of the Student Bar Association's Committee on Discrimination and Harassment. She also clerked for Senator Charles E. Schumer, researching Native American land claims, and at NARAL Pro-Choice America. Prior to joining Passman & Kaplan, P.C., Ms. D’Agostino was an associate at Klimaski & Associates, where she also specialized in representing federal employees.
Ms. D'Agostino is a member of the State Bar of New York. She is also a member of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association's Board of Directors.
