Adria S. Zeldin joined Passman and Kaplan in December 2010 with 23 years of experience in the areas of federal sector employment, discrimination, and labor law. Ms. Zeldin was employed at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission from 1987 to 2005, where she held various positions including that of an EEOC Administrative Judge and Supervisory Administrative Judge from 1995 to 2001. From 2001 to 2009, Ms. Zeldin was employed as Agency Counsel at three different federal government agencies and represented those agencies in employment and labor actions before the EEOC, the US Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA), the General Services Administration Board of Contract Appeals (GSBCA), in labor arbitrations, and in federal district courts. Prior to joining Passman and Kaplan, Ms. Zeldin worked independently as an attorney, mediator, and trainer in the area of federal sector employment law.

Ms. Zeldin received her undergraduate degree from Antioch College in Ohio in 1977 and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1985. Ms. Zeldin is a frequent lecturer at professional conferences on various areas of employment and discrimination law.  Ms. Zeldin is also an experienced mediator and has mediated public and private sector cases of employment, housing, and public accommodation discrimination; misdemeanor cases; and cases involving citizen complaints against District of Columbia police officers.
